SRX models with new engines are expected to arrive in dealerships in late summer. Prices will be announced closer to the start of production. SRX will receive direct injected 3.6L V-6 engine is projected to deliver 300 horsepower (224 kW) and 260 lb.-ft. (353 Nm) of torque, according to initial tests by Cadillac. 3.0L current SRX is directly injected V-6 engine provides 265 horsepower (198 kW) and 223 pounds-ft (302 Nm) of torque.

SRX is also available in versions of all-wheel-drive that incorporates an electronic limited slip rear differential. Popular features already offered on the SRX include fencing and a big move cargo under floor storage room in the back, a liftgate that can be programmed to stop at different altitudes and an UltraView sunroof that covers 70 percent of the roof of the vehicle.
